this page is to inform you about my strong will to lead a more natural life starting from 2012.
I am not speaking about a mere (and late) "ecological shift" but about a total recoding of my habits, particularly from the point of view of the usage of new technologies; a kind of a Neo-Luddist awakening, but absolutely shaped on my unique and personal necessities.
Sorry if this page may result a bit hard to understand, as for its language or references. This happens when a vast audience must be warned about something unique.
Please, read below about my vision, downshifting and how this may affect our relationship.

Email and Messaging
GMail accounts will be closed.
Private messaging and file exchange will take place on a secure proprietary server.
Message exchanges related to Work/School will take place on the workplace mail server only.
Telephone and Voice
Home Phone is no longer available.
Mobile Phone will be left at home in silented/ stand by/ 3G mode only.
GPS, WiFi and WiMax not operative, except in case of SIGMILINTOPS;

Skype will be used only on one machine, the Master Computer.
Prior to call a text message request must be sent.
I will not reply to sudden calls.

IT and Hi Tech are the new politic, the new global religion, and they do not require any deep thinking.
While I could successfully quit Facebook and other social platform it is much hard to stop using Google and its services because they are more radicated into the basic necessity of knowledge. Google was not in Nature, we should not be allowed to use it without thinking.
Call it pollution. The more you drink mineral water, the more you throw away PET bottles. The more we search for Google stale information the more we accumulate a debt for which we do not know nothing about its repay currency.
The more something not-in-Nature is beyond my awareness the more I feel it's something I will regret.
Google it's a plain database collecting pieces of information. May be the biggest ever conceived.
I will put all my efforts in stop using Google and its services, at first in non-anonymous mode.
Both in the virtual environment than in the physical one my personal human range will be drastically reduced. I will limit my operations to the city I live in, focusing on few areas and connecting to people living and workin in my block.
Requests and "hooks" from far places and far people will be limited, except for extraordinary cases and/or SIGMILINTOPS.
WiFi Private Network will be strongly limited/closed without warning.
Human Interfaces will be rethinked and reconsidered:
volume controls will be exclusively knobs;
Text input will take place through phisical keyboards.
No wires will be connected to human body except in case of SIGMILINTOPS.
No remote controls except in case of SIGMILINTOPS.
Data handling will change as follows:
Mechanical Hard Disk Drives will be replaced with Solid State Drives.
Strong cut to battery usage (both disposable than rechargeable).
Domestic
Main Electric Power will be preferred.
When applicable, solar power will be preferred.
